I know these old boxed games sell for more than a few buck, but I doubt it fix anything if you have trouble making ends meet every month.

Ofcourse not.. Thats what i've been trying to tell my wife for the past month. What are we gona do next time after all this is sold cause theres nothing else to fall back on? I'll be poor and have nothing to do to say the least. Either we loose the house next month or a few months down the line.

I need a side buisness of fixing computers <-- my biggest talent but i hate it at the same time.

Dude, do you really need to sell your games? If you don't mind me asking, why can't you make ends meet anyway?

The only way i could do that is to have a job from home. We dont have anyone to watch my 3 year old 5 days a week. I get only 2 days (Mon,Wen) to breath out of the week as we have my wifes sister watch my daughter.. See cant (as she's unwilling to watch her 5 days a week) so i can get a job. Both my parents work and there in the 60's. Only my wifes Father is alive and he's 85!

That and another one on the way in 6-7 months. My only option is buying and selling.. But it takes up too much time and is stressful. I'd rather work 5 days a week to be honest. Come home and relax insted of selling stuff online with is a 24 hour job.

I wish we could get my wifes Sister to watch my daughter 5 days a week.. but there busy people rich (makes 4-5x more in a month then i could in a year) and have places to go and people to see. I'd be shocked if they continue to watch my kids when the new one is born.

My wife dont want nothing to do with daycare or having a stranger raise our kids.

It totally sucks! Plus it dont help as my wife sees my collectable games as just cardboard boxes sittin on a shelf!

Re: Selling off my PC Collection LOOK!
Just for your info:

I have heavy duty thick boxes that i can use to ship large quantities and i use them to ship overseas so your games come in the shape they leave here in.

Heres a quick pick of the 20x20x20 box i broke down to 13x13x20.. I've done this to 2 packages i have ready to go overseas now.

I'm a obvious collector and i will ship my games to you in the way i've love to receive them.

Bubble wrap and lots of shredded paper as i dont trust popcorn for these babies as it could crush those or ding those boxes.

As a customer, I can say that you're one of the few sellers that actually;

1) Knows what he is selling
2) Knows that his customers are (mostly) collectors who are very keen on having proper packaging.
3) Know how to pack a precious game properly.

Oh, and I bought another 6 games from eclipse. I'll be buying Quake - The Offering and another one as well.

Duke Nuclear Winter
Duke It Out In Dc
Duke Xtreme

All in mint condition, except for the fact that the seal on the nuclear winter box split open on the bottom as I picked it up, but no matter, it's still in perfect shape.

Couldn't be happier with the transaction.

Nope.. Sold recently as well. Sorry.

Heres my ebay store with whats left.. Ofcourse theres still some i have yet to list like the some Quake games that i can part with and some games in jewl case. I also still have Full throttle in box and Outlaws in box to list as well.. if i can bare to.

Also the buyer for Phantasmagoria CIB with "0" feedback has not messaged me nor payed for it and he bought it on the 11th.. Looks like i'll be relisting that one as well.

The buyer for Hexen II Mission Pack: Portal of Praevus NEW SEALED BOX and Redneck Rampage: Rides again could not pay for them and i've since relisted Hexen PoP but i may keep Redneck.

Re: Selling off my PC Collection LOOK!
Thanks man.. Nope she dont. Not even a "Buy them again down the road when were better off" that everyone else seems to do to cope with the prob.

Alots already gone.. I had so many games i didnt have room for them on the 4 shelves i built and now theres not even enough to fill 2 shelves. Its a sick sight and its shocking each time i open the door to the walk in closet where i have them on display. Sure i've put my foot down on selling a couple but nows its close to the point where i find my self saying why bother when there all almost gone.

Yeah we need the money and sales have slowed a little around the holiday.. thank god my wife is making enough right now with the crazy hours she's working in retail and her christmas bonus is coming but ofcourse after Christmas.. I've made justs enough to buy some gifts for my Daughter.

So i understand totally that we need the money to get by and the other thing is that with another baby on the way in a couple of months, means i wont have room to store them.. so its fine. I must do what i got to do to help provide for the family and that comes first over material things.

I tell ya one thing.. Even if something happends and we come into a crap load of money.. i bet half of the games i sold i'll never see again to even buy them back!

I've got the pictures though and the memories..

I wish they would sell faster so i can move on and not see my picked apart collection all the time!

Guess who you sold it to

Probably not much consolation now that you've let it go, but the game will be kept in perfect condition. It's a shame it never sold for more than it did.

Thats ok.. i'm fine with the price.

Its all up now! Just finsihed off adding all my Quake games. I do have like maybe 3-4 other loose games and a handfull of Guide books and maybe the first ever force feedback steering wheel ever in box i still may list up in a few days.

Other then those small items its all up there! Every game i own is now up.

Thanks Tommy! hehe. I may be runing into some cash soon enough.. though according to the wife, we will be keeping it for emergency purposes only.

I just bought Total Meltdown from you, it cost a pretty penny (€102,53 / $132,24) but I'm a collector anyway. I also sended you a message about my new address in Germany.

If you ever get Duke The Apocalypse 2 up for sale then please let me know, it's now the only Duke3D item that's missing. I'm almost at the point where I dare to say that I think I have pretty much all other Duke3D stuff now (excluding the console stuff, I just don't give a damn about those. Hell, I never had a N64 or a Playstation to begin with.).

I paid $32,25 for shipping for the Total Meltdown box, which is €24,34 according to a currency conversion website.

I ship worldwide on all my stuff. Hell, about 80% of my sales are overseas!

Each item will show you the shipping cost. You just have to select your country in the shipping area and it will show you.

I mainly put in Priority International as collectors will want there stuff fast and handled less. BUT, if money is an issue i can try First Class International for you. As long as i can find a box to ship it good and the weight is below 4lbs i'm willing. Normally the USPS Priority mail boxes are provided free of charge and thats why i mainly use them.

I always tell people that if shipping is high, buy up a few games to make it worth it. When poeple buy 3 or more or 1-2 large games i'll make a custom large think box to ship your games to the best of my ability.

Protecting your games is first on my mind!

Oh, i had to change all the games to "immediate payment required" as i had a few non paying buyers last month. I know that buying multipal games can be ruff with that option up there. If theres a few games someone is interested in, message me and i'll remove the pay now option for you! Just wait for me to send you the invoice with the correct shipping after.

Iggy, glad you got that rare Duke title! I was going to message you first but forgot about it till the last sec when i wanted to post it up that night. Your purchases are always come at a perfect time when were hurtin the most! Was going through a little dry spell there for a week. After your purchase i must of had 3-4 in a row that morning hehe. Thanks!

If i ever see that game... you'll be the first to know!

Glad to hear Mate!

Just a little heads up.. I'll be taking down the store shortly. I'm not going to be relisting anymore games so if it dont sell its not going back up on ebay anytime soon. Gota figure out when my store is going to renue for next month so i can take it down before then.

Were all fine with the money prob for the next few months.. Wife tells me to save whats left for when we need money again. Dont really matter to me now as every original game i owned is now sold but one or 2.

I just had a game end called BLOOD "CIB".. If someone wants it speak up please.

If theres a game you want nows the time to act.

Thanks to all that help us out over the past few months! Surely helped out forsure!

Things change fast.. My wife is 32 weeks pregnant and her water is leaking. She went into the hospital at 4am Monday morning and has been there ever since. Doctors have her on bed rest and were waitin for a full exam to see whats going on but theres a chance the baby may be delivered 6 weeks early soon. If were lucky she will be on bed rest at home for a few weeks. Hopefully know more by the end of the day. Were hoping to go home on Friday if everything is fine.

Anyways, since my wife is out of work way sooner then expected and in the hospital, i've reposted everything that has ended and not sold. Were now going to need all the money we can get with all the medical bills pooring in shortly!

Help us out!
