Yup, it's the Mac version. Thought the box was cool so I had to have it

Same with that big Duke box.

I'm actually thinking of just buying the Mac version. I own SW in a jewel case, but no box. I don't really need the game.... I just want a box.

I'll see if I can find some PC boxed versions of Shadow Warrior tonight. Should keep me occupied. I already found the shareware version in his original box (sealed) but the seller only ships to Europe.

Edit;
Only found Mac versions;
- Shadow Warrior with box (Mac)
- Shadow Warrior with box (Mac) (new and sealed)

We know. For awhile there we were going around buying them ourselves on Ebay, since you can't get them any other way. Manufacturer went out of business years ago, and even if they didn't, they wouldn't still be making them now anyway.

I'd love owning one of those Porcelain Statues, i've been looking everywhere...
I most recently found one on ebay, with a ridiculous price though... And it was a US-only order anyways...

Man, if i ever could, i would REALLY like to own the statue for a resonable price, with no UPS shipping (-these guys are evil, shipping-wise) ...

That won't happen for an out of print collectible.

Asuming the seller knows what he/she is selling and that's not always the case. Well, not very often.

True. I'm very glad I got them when they were new.. they were expensive enough back then as well.. especially having them shipped outside the US.

I got two, I have the other one stacked away in some closet

No... not the time. Sad I am now... must make a trip to Texas.

I remember Laffer once posted a picture of his collection, god that was huge.

That's very cool. One of mine is still unopened but the box has a little dent so it doesn't look that good.. but I could probably get a little more on eBay for it since it's unopened anyway.

Here is a picture of just my Shadow Warrior stuff. As far as I can remember I don't have anything else relating to Shadow Warrior.

Edit: Here's a listing of what the stuff is.

Back Row (L-R): Macintosh US retail box (still sealed), East vs West US retail box (still sealed), PC US retail box

Front Row (L-R): SW stategy guide, SW shareware retail box (still sealed), Eidos European retail box, the two SW novels, the prototype box for the Wanton Destruction addon pack

Also in there are three of the Shadow Warrior fortune cookie giveaways from E3 1997. You can see a whole tub of the things from the Shadow Warrior display from back then.

That's really awesome stuff Especially the west+east package ..!
It reminds me that i still haven't bought Shdow Warrior yet either, i have tried it at one of my friends once though...

The wanton Destruction box should be treated carefully, since it's a one-of-a-kind object, and be displayed somewhere special, i guess...
Or is it just being put up on the shelf like any other game there..?

I forgot to put a picture of an actual CD jewel case in there, but I think we all know what that looks like.

This is also just SW. I have collections for Max Payne, Duke Nukem, and other stuff. When I find the time, I'll do them as well.

Those are Novels..? !!!
I thought those were thick manuals (i wouldn't have been surprised, my AVP2 manual is really big)

That's pretty cool...

Are you gonna make photos of one particular series each..?
It's probably also a good way to show it all off that way, and keep the photos organized...

You never looked at the books page, did you?

You can read the first chapter of the first novel online here.

That's pretty cool...

That's the plan. I think putting everything together would be too big of a picture to get it all into one shot, and be close enough where you can make things out.

Yeah, not as bad as I'd have thought they were.. I might have to read them now.. if only I could remember where I placed them.

I like how that shareware box looks too.. had never seen that one before. They never sold shareware games around here as far as I know.

What would interest me the most to see though is a collection of Apogee games prior to Duke Nukem 3D.. as those are the ones I don't have and have never seen in shops.

I might have to get that exact boxset just for that... (Hint me please, if you find it more than one on ebay, which ships internationally)
I don't have Atomic edition of Duke... i tried the 4'th episode by one of by friends though, it's really cool, and i'd like to own it... All i got is the original jewel case with manual of the 1.3 version of Duke...

Those product pages are very comprehensive!

Here's a good picture of that handheld Duke game -

(whoever posted that been biting his nails a little too much )

I just now bought some AAA batteries to try it out.. I've had it for a long time but I never use AAA batteries for anything so I didn't have any around. This game requires 4 of them by the way.

The game seems.. decent enough for that kind of game. The "music" gets very tiresome very fast though
And you hear screaming every time you shoot even though you're not hitting anything.

There are some digitized sounds like Duke saying "Let's Rock!". Also, there seem to be several weapons, ammo crates, health kits and something that looked like a keycard.. didn't play it for long though.

I may have to post a new picture after a while.

Since I've posted that first picture I've found my strategy guides for Duke3D: Atomic Edition and PREY, bought a copy of the Plutonium Pack, Duke it Out in DC... my wife bought me a boxed copy of Duke Nukem 3D: Kill A Ton as a b-day gift.

And I'm talking with a guy about a Duke Nukem 3D mouse pad.

The timing of all of that was sooo bad. Since it was around the time it was looking iffy about me staying at 3DR much longer... I didn't feel comfortable using their shwag any more. Then got caught up in the "hey guess who needs a new job now" process and time and excuses excuses excuses.

I do think I still have a stack of Duke 3D mousepads I stored away years and years ago though, and still want to make good on that promise. I'm going to add a calendar entry for myself to set aside time specifically to see if I can follow up on that.

Micki... your other thing is just waiting for me to go to the post office... but it's all bundled up and ready to go.

That's awesome !!!
I actually moved to my own apartment by now, but the delivery adress doesn't need changing, my parents (who own the address you got from the contest back then) don't live far away, it's just a 3 minute bike ride...

Besides, i still need to know what the exact mailing address for this area is called

Tonight i plan to unpack the rest of my junk, and also find the last Apogee/3DR related games to take a pic with them...

I also need some very effective glue, to repair my home made Dopefish, which i want on the photo as well
