I hate badmouthing 3DR about media blackouts but thats what i resort to when theres nothing to talk about and i am sorry but hopefully this will change that

Why would they make it sound like a big thing and post it on the front page/forum when it's clearly not? I think I'm not alone when I say that I'm getting tired of being treated like this. Seems like they want to trick everyone into thinking some BIG news are coming all the time. Can't they tell that after 10+ years people are getting tired of this and just want some decent hard cold facts? There is a limit to how many times tricking the fans is fun, and I think we've just about reached it... I was going to say something about crying wolf but I'll leave it at that.
And how come George never replies in his own forums where all the biggest fans are? I think it's a bit disrespectful towards the fans.

How do you go from explicitly saying that you're going to debut a new trailer for DNF on your DEBUT show, to, essentially, GB showing up and debunking the whole thing?

Never said Jace did. I said some Whacko on Wacky Tabacco who does PR for this, uh, crackles site, blurts out "OMG WE HAVE TRAILER!" (Paraphrased). A release date would be the likely "scoop" that was referred to by Joe.

Georges statement said the next time we saw the game it'd be something substantial, and since he says there's no trailer comming, a release date is the only thing I can think of that'd fit the criteria to fit Joes comment of, "This show may have landed the greatest scoop of all time in the history of gaming… We shall see!". That is of course provided that the scoop is DNF releated, which would seem logical as this was posted in the DNF forum.

Anyways, who knows what it'll be. We'll just have to wait and see.

Man, I'd rather the game was cancelled than have to deal with this constant bullshit.

I want to say I will pirate DNF when it comes out as payback for my 10+ year wait for the game, but I know I won't do that. I'd still like to threaten it, though.

I have to agree with you there. We should just take whatever we can get with DNF and be happy with it.

Is that right, I'm more interested of who this Jace is and what he's going to do on that show more than anything.

Can't wait to see it, 3D realms are probably interviewed on how cool there games are.

It wouldn't make much sense for Joe to put this in the DNF forum if there weren't SOMETHING DNF related comming out of all this.

I think the thing is -- no offense to anyone here of course -- that, if it's not a trailer (and we now have reason to suspect that it's definately not), then it's not worth caring that much about. I mean, even if it's George sitting down talking about DNF, the vast majority of people aren't going to be floored exactly by what's said. It's at the point now where 3DR really needs to take a back seat to other media until they're ready to release their own. If it's good, then they can talk and I think reasonable people will certainly listen.

Primarily, I'm just upset that the Crackle rep, without hesistation, speaks of a trailer for DNF on their reveal. I don't know how you **** up that hard.

But, I mean, some super scoop? I just don't see how.

Well it's indirectly confirmed. Crackle.com is going down on june 4th. and adding new shows. so new shows are confirmed.

The part I don't like is that apparently Jace's show will only be like five minutes.
