This is the blog for Joe Siegler, the Apogee / 3D Realms website administrator.
That is all.
That is all.
Blogs are here!
After getting a pretty decent response to the question about whether people would use the blog addon here, I've decided to go ahead and implement it. This post you are reading is the first ever post made on the system here, and details a few of the remarks about it.
The majority of these are being done because I want to not create increased server load and demand.
1) I will NOT be turning on trackbacks or pingbacks.
2) You have to have an account on the forums to leave a comment. This is a spam prevention idea. I could have also restricted it so that you had to be a on a person's friends list too, but decided against that. You can however set that option yourself for entries you make.
3) The graphics. The blog addon comes with a set of graphics that are geared towards the default look of vBulletin. They do not ship with a version for a dark background such as this board. I will replace them as soon as a I get a chance. Splat, Motion, you out there?
That's about it.
