Max Payne 2 PC using a controller?
Is this possible, and does anyone know how to get it to work?

What do you mean by "controller"? It's designed to be played with the mouse and keyboard - both of which are "controllers".

If by that you mean joystick or joypad, or something else along those lines, then no. There is no joystick support in here.

Funny how other first person and third person PC games support "joypads."

Why would you wanna use a controller? The mouse and keyboard is way better for shooting games.

Yeah, well maybe so, but not for people with carpal tunnel, or RMS!

Game pads make it easy to play with no pain.

No fun to spend $50 and find out it ain't playable without discomfort---and it doesn't say ANYWHERE on the box that it does not support joystick/gamepad.

Be nice to be able to find that out BEFORE buying it.

Well, you could have waited for the demo which will be out shortly.

You could have asked on the forums instead of simply assuming it from the fact that the box doesn't advertise no support for gamepads.
Btw, if you read the requirements it states that you need a keyboard and mouse.

Carpal tunnels... big deal. 10 minutes operation and it's fixed. One small incision, snip the wrist, close, and voilą. I'll get that pretty soon and it's a walk in the park. It completely removes the pain. Either get an Xbox and wait for a port, or get an appointment with your doctor!

to me, using a joypad actually hurts my wrist and fingers even more... i guess the main reason is that i can't hit sh*t w/ a joypad, that's y i keep grabbing the controller harder to try harder...
