Help with Windows 7 Duke...
I just upgraded to Windows 7 64-bit a few weeks ago and thankfully Duke still works. However, the sound is garbled and echo-ey, and when I try to open bastART it doesn't open. It brings up an error message:
"Component 'COMDLG32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." Now I remember when I reformatted about a year ago I got the same message and there was something I had to change on a system file for my computer, but it's been a while since I had to change it and I couldn't find the solution when I googled it this time around. Anybody know what I need to do to make bastART work again? And maybe how to fix the sound situation? Other than that, if anybody is curious, Duke 3D works just fine on Win7. |
