Installing Bonus Chapters release adds two more Dead Man Walking Chapters into Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne.

Run the game and two new Chapters will be available under "New Game/Dead Man Walking" menu selection. Keep in mind that Dead Man Walking gameplay mode is only unlocked after you've completed the game for the first time.

The new maps are:
* Upper East Side
* Mona's Playground

The Finns are really on my "good" list right now. Max Payne 1 was amazing, and Max Payne 2 was frickking amazing! They contained the hype for MP2, released a stable, bug-free game ON TIME, had a patch out for it very quickly, and now already have top-level, free, additional content for the game!

Keeping in mind that I haven't been able to play the game yet and I know that there are huge story issues that may make this difficult, what about a MP2 'expansion'? Basically what I'm suggesting is that Remedy do a mod of sorts, but with the advantage of having access to greater resources than the rest of us (voice tracks, graphic novel content, etc.) I'm sure there are legal issues (not to mention cost ones) when it comes to generating more usable dialogue, but a somewhat lengthy prologue to the first two games would be nice. Perhaps it could involve Max and Alex and how he got to where he was before the first game, or maybe what takes place between the first game's prologue and main content (ie, play Max as undercover, having to do work for Punchinello). Any chance of major add-ons like this, Remedy?

anyhow.. Monas playground, the floor on which u spawn, if you hide behind that box, and move as back as possible, you can last quite long. i got bored after 8 or so minutes, but i assume you can go on for another five, ten, or something.

If Remedy releases more, they should do the funhouse, seriously. In fact, that should have been 'Mona's Playground' unless they couldn't do it for some technical reason.

Possible, but we're not 100% sure yet. There's some more stuff that would be nice to polish and release if we find time for it, and I think there's still quite much things you could do with the DMW gameplay mode as well.

Then again, right now we're still working on the PS2 and XBox versions (with R* Vienna) and those are obviously a top priority. Then there's also the demo that we should polish and release... and the tutorials... and it would be nice to get a prefab pack released... :-)

its cool you guys at remedy are releasing new content and gameplay modes for the released mp game. hopefully we will recieve more of the dmw levels and other content in the nearer future as long as you have time for it that will permit you to do so.

that other post regarding about having the dmw levels and other stuff onto xbox thru xbox live, that would be great, i mean if all pc mp2 players can get download privilages on its pc platform then i cant see why other gamers from the console versions of mp2 would be left out of having additional content in their own xbox/ps2 versions of the mp2 game.
so there will be download content for the ps2/xbox versions of mp2 for the dmw and other content will that be likely?

i hear the ps2 harddrive dont come on out until next march 2004 so its impossible to save your content on anything like the hard drive thats not out till next yr so even tho we have memory cards now with 8mb on it but that isnt enuff to carry that much for the dmw and other cool stuff you download from the net.

another thing that would be cooler now that we can get more content on our consoles: to be able to download user-created pc dmw levels into our ps2/xbox versions of mp2. i mean nowadays you can play against ppl online when you have a ps2/xbox and the other person your playing against has a pc, so to be able to download off more dmw levels from ppl who made them on their pc's and play them levels on our consoles that would be excellent

it'll still be better tho if we could make our own dmw levels on our consoles and then upload them for others to download and play with, that would be even better

anyway keep those stuff coming remedy, dont stop.
once you have more time available to do anything else content related keep at it and take your time.
