It's too bad that Prey has been absent in quite a few Best of E3 listings. Still, it hasn't been left behind

If you're looking for kind words, I like what IGN had to say in their E3 Aftermath article:

"Prey, in particular, was interesting because none of us had any expectations other than 'DOOM 3 clone' going into the demo but all of us came out with open eyes and are now looking quite forward to playing it." (The entire article can be read here .)

I suppose if there was any question as to whether Prey would stand on its own two legs, the Prey demonstration answered it.

Everybody says that it's incredible and this and that, but they aren't making a big deal out it like they do with other games.

Yes, agreed. Like with Doom3 everyone went "OMG, I want this game!!!" "Masterpiece of the art form" and shit.

But now their reaction is plain mediocre. IMO Prey promisses much more than Doom3 with this hype compared to the D3 hype.

Prey also got a nomination for best PC shooter from Gamespot's best of E3 awards. It didn't get any awards though...
