Looks pretty rad! Makes me wish eDuke had real time lighting and normal mapping. That that'd be pretty stupid to wish for.

Looks great nonetheless. Can' wait to see the whole thing textured!

How many polys does it have? Remember, if you want it to be in the HRP it can't have that many polys.

Did you use 3dstudios for this, or I guess it's called viz now, but is that what you used?

Seems like Blender to me.

3ds Max is still called 3ds max, btw - viz is the architectural version of max.
But that's not used for game content creation.

Looking very cool. Did you make the body or are you building off a Make Human or Poser model?

Don't forget his belt buckle.

Are you making him for a game or are you making him for display?

Thanks for the comments everyone.

I used Blender to make this model,as some of you mentioned. It's about 12000 tri's atm, which is alot,i know .I never really thought of putting him in a game.Maybe i should lower the polycount and get him into UT2k3/2k4.I once made a Rock Lee(from the anime Naruto) and got that into Ut2k3.I used maya to do that, but since a while there's something wrong with my maya's rigging system when i try to export it.

Tea Monster: I made the body myself, never tried Poser or Makehuman

Here's a small update.

Eyes are too far apart and not big enough. then again maybe it's simply the size of the eyes being too small making them look like they're too far apart. otherwise it seems fine.

Eyes are perfectly alright. If it was to get bigger, it'd become anime. I do agree about the position for the eyes though. They do seem a little far apart.

Rule of thumb - one eye space between the eyes. Then adjust as desired.

I meant he looks old but it is an early picture your working on right it is just a joke, maybe the skin tone needs more colour and he needs to be more detailed.

Brilliant model though I could never do that.

Looks better with the glasses on, when you have a character with hidden facial feature you make them stay hidden. It keeps the character mysterous and fresh, and people like them better that way.

The skin looks good, but it needs some more contrast to make it pop out correctly. Good work though. If you want to get it into a game engine, you are looking at getting the poly count down under 5K.

If its just for fun that whatever you are comfortable with.

The model is looking good. I wouldn't worry about the eyes as they are never seen.
