Actually, did anyone ever manage to find out what happened to the Evil Dead TC that was on TotalConversions.com? It looked kinda neat but the site went down after the admins stopped updating TCs.com.

I have no idea. That was on the list of TC's nitro404 said he has. I left him a message to get back to me about the rest of the TC's on the list if he would. As far as the Evil People TC, I'm waiting to see if anyone comes forward with some new info. too.

For me It's level design, gameplay, and a nice level of detail. I don't expect perfection in older TC's or new ones for that matter. If it's fun to play thats what counts most.

Thanks for the links Quakis. I must have missed I-Duke at gamers.org. Sometimes when searching the old archives there I start to get cross-eyed I think and miss things. Total Action from gamers.org I may have had a problem with. I will try it again.

I just stopped by the gamers.org Duke TC section to see if I missed anything. There is a TC there named Undead: Special Edition that I have not been able to get to run. Has anyone played it recently? Heres the link: http://gamers.org/pub/games/duke3d/tc/undead/

And here's another question, why doesn't anyone use gamers.org to host their Duke files anymore? It's a stable site and they still host idgames wads.

A few of those TC's you'll never find because I'm the only person that has the files ;P

Coolio TC Demo - A TC I made that was also largely unbalanced. For some reason most of the weapons are from the Mob Weapons Patch because I had never really figured editart out back then. Not a great TC by any means, but yeah.

Toon Nukem Demo - A project I was working on with a friend back in 2001-2002. Never really finished it, but it was going really nicely. I'd still like to finish it if I ever get the time o_O

Ultima TC Demo - A TC I started around the same time as Coolio / WW2. Pretty much finished it, though there was no original content at all and it was rather unbalanced.

World War 2 - No Return Demo - A mod I had barely even started on, has a partial level and some weapons. It's been long abandoned.

I hadn't really made any official releases for 3 of them, so I'm making it official now. Enjoy!

I just downloaded it from your site yesterday. And I just finished your WG Space Episode today. It was a lot of fun. I rated it as very good with 4 out of 5 stars.

The only port that would work with it is EDuke32, due to CON errors in that TC that I have workarounds for.

Hmm I think it did got released, because I remember playing this one a year ago I guess. Thought they posted this at AMC, don't know for sure. Ask Mblackwell or Rusty, they were working ont that project, right?

Also, if you are constructing a list of TCs or hosting them, I would suggest that you note version numbers and/or release dates since some of these things went through a half dozen or more versions. Just a thought.

And of course. I'm not keeping track of release dates but I am keeping separate versions of each mod (if there are any). I've got a basic C++ based mod manager, console interface for Duke running right now.. probably gonna resume work on it today and hopefully have a beta version of it out along with a compiled version of my Duke Mod archive (aka all mods converted to a set of two files - game.con and the grp file)

I'll be posting a final list of my collection later, once I finish updating it completely. ^^

That's going to be todays project. I never made a comprehensive list before. I have a list of already hosted, reviewed and needs to be hosted, and needs to be reviewed and hosted. When I combine them I will compare it to nitro404's list.


Edit: I am not sure if I have all the Alien TC's. I have 9 zip files that start with "alien" so I will check into them later. Same for the Star Wars TC's. Other than that the only ones I don't think I have are Dukenstein (I have 3 versions of Castle Dukenstein), Duke Xtreme, and Evil Incarnate.
I do have about 37 other TC's on my site already that are not on that list. FYI: I try to keep good records but sometimes things slip through the cracks.

It was later recycled and used by MBlackwell and Rusty Nails with another project, I think titled simply "Alien".

Duke Xtreme was an official mod that came with the Kill-A-Ton collection. I don't remember if it was a multiplayer thing or just what it entailed..

Evil Incarnate is a mod I made for a school project this past christmas, I haven't officially released it anywhere yet - waiting on the confirmation from my friend. So that one should be posted on here fairly soon. ^^

I'll be posting a new list of all my TC's fairly soon. Don't have much more to go through. ^^
