One day, both of you responded to a shooting call uptown - a prime area for mafia operations. You come to a building, and Mona tells you to wait outside. From a window, you see mona talking to two men. They start arguing. You decide to go inside and see what's going on. But before you can get to the door, one of the men pulls a gun, puts it to Mona's temple, and fires. She drops to the ground. You burst in, and quickly shoot both attackers. You pick up Mona's body and drive, siren's blaring to the hospital. The doctors tell you that although she is in serious condition, the bullet missed any major areas of the brain, and she will survive. Two days later you go to visit her at the hospital, but when you get to her room, she has disappeared. After weeks of searching and frustration, you find that Mona was involved in something with Vlad. The police are looking for Mona in connection with the Russian crime boss... Present Day On a routine check of an abandoned warehouse, you hear gunshots and go to investigate. You realize that you are at one of Vlad's warehouses. As you travel through the building, doing away with Vlad's cleaners, Mona suddenly appears out of an elevator. As the past comes back to life, you are thrown into a vicious battle for your life, and for Mona's. mod for MP2 based on the first two films in the "A Better Tomorrow" trilogy, by John Woo. It's main features will include a new max skin (mark/ken from the films), new muzzle flashes, new blood effects, and 3 normal sized DMW maps, and one small one. I plan on creating the maps but I will need some help creating the new effects, the skin/model(I can provide media to assist in skin making), and putting the mod all together. If anyone has seen or heard of the movies, thinks this sounds like a cool idea, and/or wants to help me, please e-mail me at [email protected], any who helps will be given credit.

Well.. It took me some time but now I finally put out the mod I was working on a half year ago.
Its called "Gothland" and its almost in black and white. here you can downloaad it: http://www.netpsykologen.se/gothland New textures, new GN , New story and so on. ------------- DMW MP1 Helipad: An underground police helicopter pad and storage area. This level was originally built for Max Payne 1 i’ve converted it because the layout is decent for Dead Man Walking. Lighting and AI have been completely rebuilt, level textures remain the same. Download ------------- DMW Prison An abandon prison from the 1950's with a heavy storm outside. A large DMW level with a intricate layout with multiple levels. This is the kind of level I would have tried to have made for MP1 but I like the MP2 level editor so much better. As an Intro to LHOOQ it is probably too short for most but does foreshadow everything still to come in parts 2 & 3 so I am very pleased with it just the same! If anyone comes across other mirrors would you do me the favor of posting them on the talk about it thread, please? *G*

Step 2: Drop DeathRowRC1.mp2m in the main Max Payne directory, with the game .exe Step 3: Start Max Payne 2, and in the dialogue before the You do NOT need to beat the game or edit the registry to play Dead Man Walking with my mod. It will work on a completely clean install of Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne. --Overview This mod's main goal was to make the Dead Man Walking game mode to be more engaging and have a longer replay life. In "vanilla" DMW, you can only get so good and then you're basically just wasting your time. A glass ceiling on gameplay. When you start the mod, maybe you get the same times as vanilla. However, there is actually room to get better, skill-wise. Once you do? Body-count through the roof. Every time I start it up I have a gunfight more intense than most of the storyline mode. --Main points to remember 1) You have no crosshair. No, it's not a bug. Give it a try, all the testers really like it -- in fact, it's the entire idea behind the mod. http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/8...nsightspk9.jpg 2) I changed the weapons a LOT. Try them all, extensively. I attempted to cut down the suspension of disbelief on this. You can hit things with the guns, unlike vanilla. If you can, without crosshairs. http://img116.imageshack.us/img116/7342/longshotiz6.jpg For instance, the spread on the shotguns is WAY smaller (vanilla is so unrealistic it's painful...and makes the shotguns useless), and damage is up. 3) "All Or Nothing" bullet-time. Bullet-time can only be used when full, and if you cancel it you lose everything. Why? I was tired of flicking bullet-time on and off constantly. With this, you have a 15-25 second long "scene". It's not as slow, but it lasts a long time. Then, when you're out...you have a period of time where you don't have BT to save you.
