I think it means: For Your Information, it could be very, very, very wrong!

Yeah, ElectricPeter's right, it means For Your Information; I wonder why exactly the board's down, it doesn't say...

Cool
FYI = For your information.

Boards are down. It's taking too long. Guess this is the place to be.

Btw, anyone play RTCW? Is there a dopefish cameo?

At least I didn't miss anything.

I just got home from work, got that error, and got pissed at myself for not logging in before going to work.

Then I saw this thread was started this morning before I even woke up.

...I hope this wasn't a pre-emptive strike against any MTS wannabes that may be lurking on the forums, or this could be a long weekend...

What's MTS?

Yeah the 3DR forums are down I was actually using them when they went down, it was about 1 AM (the board's time). I am getting kinda bored without them.

Mike The Spike.

He's a famous past member of the 3DR UBB. He was around for a stretch in '98, and again in 2000.

Last year, someone I know tried to stir up a bunch of crap during the 4-day Thanksgiving weekend. He went too far by impersonating MTS, and a not-very-amused MTS came back to set the record straight.

I told him not to do it, but he had made up his mind that he wanted to go out from the 3DR UBB with a bang.

uh oh...

Maybe Joe is installing some new skins...I only hope he does not come out with a bunch of light yellow graphics and the font color set to "white" .

A Duke Nukem theme because DNF is about to go gold!

Maybe it's a Joe Seigler theme where he puts up weird, big-ass photographs of himself on the forums!!

Wonder what's taking so long? How long has it been?

Do you think it's because of DNF ? Preparing the forums for the release ? That would be a happy surprise for sure

/Hoping...

I think there's a 1% chance of that; but we can always hope.
