Steam Anthology Question
Someone, in another thread, mentioned that the soundtrack for the Steam version was in the Alien Carnage installation. I checked mine, even uninstalled/reinstalled, verified game cache - virtually everything I could, and there is no soundtrack there. The post in the thread showed their folder tree and I saw it in the same folder I've been working with. I asked Windows 7 to search for the file names in that post, and it came back no results. How can I go about fixing this and getting the soundtrack?

Re: Steam Anthology Question
Have you tried uninstalling the anthology, and then reinstalling JUST Alien Carnage?

Re: Steam Anthology Question
Just tried this - still no soundtrack. The only thing in the directory are the files for the game, and for DOSbox.
EDIT: Per this post: http://forums.3drealms.com/vb/showpo...1&postcount=14 Inside the Alien Carnage Halloween Harry folder there should be a soundtrack folder. But all I have in mine is a folder called Alien Carnage and a batch file (presumably used to launch the game in DOSbox). Inside that Alien Carnage folder are the game files and a folder for DOSbox. I'm not seeing a soundtrack folder anywhere in here.

Re: Steam Anthology Question
Any updates/thoughts on this? If this is content I should have, I'd like to get it corrected - whether it be via 3D Realms or via Steam.

Re: Steam Anthology Question
2 months since my last inquiry - still no update. Very disappointed. And apparently, I am not the only one with this problem:
http://steamcommunity.com/app/358280...7600527291038/ Really would like some sort of response to this, as being told it is included when clearly it isn't for a lot of people means I didn't get everything I paid for. |

I too am in the same situation I mentioned my lack of soundtrack a few days after the game came out was told that it was supposed to be in the alien carnage folder and it wasn't there tried reinstalling several times and it has never shown up ive done searches for specific music files that are supposed to be included and they are not anywhere on my computer... I REALLY would like to get my soundtrack.

Re: Steam Anthology Question
Just read about the update on Steam (http://steamcommunity.com/games/3582...02970875302107) and I can confirm the existence of the soundtrack in the Alien Carnage/Halloween Harry folder per the initial posts in this thread. A big thank you to Joe and anyone else at 3D Realms for getting this fixed!

Re: Steam Anthology Question
Yeah, it was a bit of trouble tracking down what was going on, but it all seems to be fixed now.
