Prey Music: Metal Version
Greetings, players and creators of the Prey game!
I'm here to tell you that our work over the metal version of Jeremy Soule's Prey Overture is finished and we are interested in your opinions. It was hard but pleasant work - to find the thoughts of this awesome and talented composer, turn them into metal and return them back. We tried and hope that we were successful.

You're welcomed to listen the tune in high quality at http://epinikion.com/jeremy-soule-prey-theme-music.html and share your thoughts with us here or on our site.

Good luck!

P.S. I want to say that this track is made without any plans of profit-making and only for Internet free distribution. Mr. Soule knows about it and we have his personal permission for this work. This is the pure fan project, that was made only to express our admiration of this beautiful music and remind you that great hours spent inside the world of Prey.

You should sell it so good it is!

Very impressed, guys. Prey's music is near and dear to my heart, having directed and supervised the music's production. This is an outstanding version of the Prey Overture. It's evident this was a labor of love; thanks for the hard work!

The guitar bit from 2:52 through 2:56 really sounds like Brian May of Queen.

Now I have a new plan to bait the devs. Everyone of us must make a little project to be mentioned on the frontpage. So we can talk to them on a regular basis.

btt:
I would like to download the score. Any chance?

That was awesome! I need to ask you a question: can I use it as the official theme for my Prey project? An "altered" Prey theme would fit very well a series of levels set in an "altered" reality

Thanks to all of you from all the band members!
We're all very glad that you liked the track. This is the tangible proof that our work was not in vain.

Of course you can download it for free. Register on the site and get all the music in good quality without any restrictions.

Altered Reality, you can take the track and do everything you want with it (except something that will break the law or violate copyrights of the original soundtrack creators, of course). It will be really interesting to see the result.

Thank you all once again

So, let's see: the Prey theme is orchestral and has been remade as metal. This means that Grabbag (which is metal) should be remade as orchestral music

Wasn't this already done with the E3 2001 trailer theme?

I'm not usually a big fan of metal music, but I hearing this you have won me over, until 3:21 to about 4:02 anyway then the track recovers again. Now apart from your cover of the Oblivion theme, would you be making any more instrumentals? Either covers or your own?

With regards,

Yickle.
