Help with speedrunning
Well first of all, is there any website out there that talks about speedrunning in this game and explains all the tricks? If not, I'm having trouble jumping into shrink tunnels. Does anyone have any tips about that? I know you have to jump and crouch when you land but I can't get it to work consistently. Also, does anyone know how to do the trick on It's Impossible where you jump through a wall and land in the subway tunnel? I can't for the life of me figure that one out.

Re: Help with speedrunning
I just use most of the tricks the PC run uses, and speedruns of the PC version can be found here:

Also on the notes for the runs there are links to glitches and how they work and such.

If you need any help feel free to message me on XBL. GT: Cizzzats

For glitching into a small hole, You have to jump, duck while in the air, and jump the millisecond you hit the ground... It requires very precise timing...

And for going through a wall, it's a simple small wall push. Just jump diagonally (Strafing and walking forwards at the same time) jump, and when you hit the corner where the wall connects to the small ledge, jump while still holding down crouch. It takes some practice to prefect. There is also a harder variant called a large wall push... Basically the same deal, except you have to land on the corner with crazy precision.

I would visit Ferinto's page for further help.

Thanks for the replies! I knew Fernito had a page about his duke runs but I hadn't been able to find it so thanks a bunch for the link!(edit: wow I'm an idiot. I can't believe I didn't notice he has a link to it right on the SDA page). And also, hey what's up Cizzzats? I recognize your name from the time trial boards. I'm sticking to the score boards although I do have the #1 spot for spin cycle in time trial mode. That's only because there's no secrets though so speedrunning it is the same for time trial and score besides difficulty level. I think the time trials ought to have an overall board so you guys get more recognition. Maybe it could only include people who have times for every level, including the secret ones, and then rank people in order by least time across the whole game. Just a thought. Anyways, thanks again for the help!

Cool links guys!

I only hold a couple of top 10 spots on the time trial leaderboards.

Yea I am or was the number one on Time Trials for a while. I haven't played the game in weeks but on a lot of the levels where I wasn't number 1 I watched the runs and realized where I could gain some time and beat the run. I might go back someday and get number 1 on all of them if I have a lot of time.
