Shadow Warrior Runs SSLLOOWW
When i start Shadow Warrior the game runs fun but when i accept the difficulty
thats where every thing slows down like hell-ish it takes AGES just to make him say "who wants some wong?" and when I'm ingame the controls are VERY slow as well as the game it self... when i start the first chapter where there is 2 monsters jumping in through the window i get killed nearly instantly... becurse i don't get a chance to react and I'm not able to aim at them becurse of the "lag" i know this was a long time ago this game was realeased but i just bought it a week ago and wanted to know if there is a way to solve the slow down in the game oh one more thing, the game seems to run at normal speed when ever i press ESC (pause menu) then there is no problems at all... it begins to run smoothly... but when i exit the menu to play the game it begins to "lag" like hell again SORRY if this has all ready been answered somewhere, but i couldn't find the solution any where... Please help me my system: (if this helps you a bit) Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 3 Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 4000+, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.4GHz Memory: 2048MB RAM DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c Card name: ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT GFX Card Display Memory: 256.0 MB Sound Card: C-Media Wave Device |

Re: Shadow Warrior Runs SSLLOOWW
Sounds to me that you're running the DOS version of Shadow Warrior, which will do exactly that. Run slow, etc.
You need a port. A port will allow you to run Shadow Warrior under Windows XP. You can download a port by the name of JFShadowWarrior here. In this zip file there will be a new setup.exe and sw.exe. Put all of the files from this Zip file into your shadow warrior folder. Use the new Sw.exe to run properly. More information on JFShadowWarrior here: http://www.jonof.id.au/index.php?p=jfsw |

Re: Shadow Warrior Runs SSLLOOWW
@Steve
Sorry i tried that one but the GFX are lame and the way it's put up doesn't seem right... yes i think it's the Dos version... i heard DosBox can solve this issue too, but i don't know how Dosbox works... if i did I'd bee wasting a lot of time with Syndicate Wars (my fav old game of all time!!!) when i had a computer that was able to run it, i played it nearly 24/7 and completed it atleast 6 time (in both factions) i wish i could still play Syndicate wars. anyways... yes it's the Dos version i guess... though when i installed it it used the install shield that comes with windows... so this makes me a bit uncertain... @Supergoofy what?

Teaqu, DOSBox isn't that hard to get up and running, start here.
Try it out with SW, it may or may not work for you, you won't know until you try!
