Just a few mere days left now...

... before Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and still we've received no trailer, no new screenshots, not even a single word (except for those "statements" by Duke/Scott), and things are starting to look grim for the chances of a DNF revelation of any sort. Yet, there is a slight chance that something may actually happen. Even George Br... I mean Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol repented his actions and became a model of generosity and kindness. Why cannot that happen in this hiatus between 3D Realms and Take Two?

Ah, what does an oafish fan like me, who have little insight in the workings in this legal hullabaloo, know, I just want to play the game. But I really plead to George Broussard and Scott Miller to join us here some day in Christmas if they are not planning to release some goodies; if not to "discuss" Duke Nukem Forever then to just chill and remember the good ole' times.

I dont want to sould like a smartarse but that Critical Mass pic is a real photo of what looks like wrapping paper (you can see the light coming from the flash).

Next year is the year we might have a trailer or even DNF itself, so

Rapture_Rising, I looked at that picture again and what you are suggesting is most likely the real deal. Wrapping paper you might say, wrapping paper for Duke Nukem Forever? Who knows, it could be, because wrapping Critical Mass or the other games in the trilogy with wrapping paper where it says the name of the game seems just silly.

Furthermore I can point out my view on "There is always room for one more present under my tree":

Present: Woman/Girl
Tree: Duke's dong

Has perhaps been suggested before.

wrapping paper....last christmas George tweeted DNF wrapping paper. But I don't think in this paper is the game or something like that, its prob just some gift Scott is giving to George, Terry or so.

and the "there is always room for one more present under my tree" sentence seems like a hint. If its not a hint...the sentence is very bad chosen!!!!

It can't be easily misinterpreted. Delusional fans would just have misinterpreted anything. 3DR could announce that DNF is never going to be made, ever, and some people here would just see that as some kind of 'hint'.
