Now I'm trying your TC with a very recent snapshot (31/01/2009) and the strange bug with savegames shows again, but not everytime. It manifest especially when you load a savegame just after being killed. If in that moment you hit "esc" and then load the savegame everything going smooth abot 80% of times. And I'm using a clean new install of the latest version of Hellduke and Eduke. You can check the log at the end of the message.
Apart from that, it seems to me that pistol, chaingun and explosives are a bit weak in Hellduke : I think it's yours choice, but it bothers me.
Apart from this, I'm very eager to see new version !

May I suggest you to play an older version of eduke which you WON'T have any bugs (need some trial-error, I don't remember the best version for this). When I release the new version, it will work fine with all the bug fixes (mainly how commands work, because all your bugs are command bugs)

Well, don't expect me to say "almost done" or anything. I'm still working on E1M5 and a mapper is also working on a map. I'll post some screenshots soon when I do some more touches.

This is great supergoofy! Hope, XTHX2 continues with this cool TC. As far as I remember there were many things he wanted to implement and to further improve...
