[WIP]Hellduke TC! will make your doom become alive
Still trying to find a better name... Ideas are pretty much appreciated.

Ehm. Well I can't explain you that much here but my TC is basically a Doom TC. But, as in environment. Some monsters of Doom used but not all of them.
There are many new things which are explained in the readme file inside the rar file.

Now to be honest, I'm not the best mapper but I'm not completely skilless... So tell me if any of the maps need any enhancement. Any constructive comments are pretty much appreciated but be honest

Now I'll show you some screenies. Sorry if they look bad because of shade...

Some of you may ask " Why are there some bad colored textures? " It's because I've converted them to png format and calling them by a def file. So they look bad in build. If they are converted to a doom pallete, you won't see anything great.

Sweet looking. Yeah, some textures look strange in the screens but gameplay is what counts and you explained them so that's fine lol. I'll have to dl this weekend or sometime when I'm around an Internet Connection. Nice work XTHX2!

Wow thanks guys. It's the first mod that I've introduced to web ever. It's a perfect feeling to hear good comments from you guys.

Well many of the absurdness will be removed such as imps flying-suffering or any other actor moves. There won't be any messed up textures at all. I just need some help for some weapon coding for my mod that's all I need. If anybody with some coding skills wants to help me, feel free! (And again, thanks for the comments )

The levels are on a hard detailing stage so if you find empty areas at E1L2 don't be confused.

There are some converted maps from Doom too but they will be HEAVILY detailed that you won't even be able to remember the original map itself

For those of you who say " Why is uzi so weird? ", it's going to be replaced with texture 6374 the new pistol. If I can find a coder to do the animations for me then it will be all set.

EDIT: Sorry for this but can you guys use this HELLGAME.CON instead. It's because the stupid sized newbeast ... Just extract it to the folder that you are using to play my mod and it won't have any problems.

A new version with updates and detailed E1L2 will be here soon. Just trying to do some new code enhancements. For now, I have replaced Uzi with a Doom pistol-like thing. At least adds a little feeling and would fit better than an uzi :P

Also, I'm open for any suggestions to help this mod become a really good mod.

Well I will keep up my work you can trust me about it. However it wouldn't be bad to get some review from somebody so I could enhance it further more. I'm trying to get rid of the hugeass size by deleting the unused stuff right now. Should be much shorter when I update it.

I've just completed the first episode. The second level was a total madness! The rest was much shorter and easier to not to stuck somewhere. I had to cheat a bit but I think it's not the most important. It was nice to fight the mastermind again. Also you did a nice movie instead of old dukish one. However I think that something is wrong with aaa...... What is the name of this demon? The largest monster in doom that fires bazooka(There was only one in this episode), it's not possible to aim him and so damage him unless you shoot at the ground with some expolisves.

I didn't do that movie... thanks, you remembered me to credit another person! As for the levels, they are in a detailing stage. E1L2 will be detailed much more and you will like it more. For other levels, they are not detailed yet and they are just simple sketches for now thats why they are short :P Cyberdemon is who you are looking for by the way. Oh, what level did you see him or did you just spawn him? I need to fix it's code because you can't aim at him if you don't use blocking at mapster. They will be all fixed for the new version. If you can tell me which level you saw it, I may do some fix for it. And again, that Mastermind will have a father and you will fight it, the original mastermind will just be a miniboss, by that I mean I'll change the E1L6 Boss. You'll like it more I'm sure.

By the way there are hell a lot of Cyberdemons at Episode 2 and you'll enjoy fighting against them. Guess who's the Episode 2's boss?

I think the cyberdemon is in E1L5 at the end of the level. It's the level before the map with a final boss battle. I have no idea who is the 2nd episode boss

You should find out yourself. His name starts with C._._._._K._._._ Dots are dividing the letters from each other while "_" symbolizes the letters. I think I gave you enough clues!!!! =)

Here are some screenies of me, testing new monsters ( which are also included in the rar file above, all the " weapons go through them " bugs have been fixed ) with the new pistol! It has the same attack rate as doom pistol and slightly stronger than the uzi before. I'm still testing whether the animation looks good or not so when it's finished, the new version with the finished E1L2 will be uploaded!

Just one more thing. Tell me, E1L2's music fits well to the map isn't it ? ^_^

Well it's not the new spider mastermind. It is, as I call it Armageddon. It's the replacement of tank with new coding. He ( or it? O_o ) has a laser cannon to use if Duke gets too far or a rocket if he gets in middle range or a chaingun if he gets too close. I'm planning to make a special arena just for him at E2. These guys can be put with extracting the art files from the grp. However I highly advice you to play the episodes ^^ The robot you see is, as I call Anti duke! He can be found at E1L7 the secret level. The theme of the level is something I can't tell you now so try to find it on your own! Only thing I can say about it is, the music won't sound too strange to you!

Ah, I see, still looks cool though Spider Mastermind-ish. That's awesome that it knows to switch weaponry and I can't wait even more to play this. I almost didn't notice the robit until you mentioned it I like the Nuke Symbols on it. Very cool.

Well it's a shame that the black SM ( spider mastermind ) hasn't used yet. But be sure that when I reach the detailing stage of E2, you'll see him very often. Before posting the new version, I'll also change the rocket launcher sprite and NEWBEAST projectile. It's just the Electric Staff's one shot kill projectile, which annoys <just got owned by it so, decided to remove it o.o> I shall make many improvements to give you the best DOOM! to you. (At least, I hope it will be much better than the crappy, Duke Meets Doom II.) I'm also thinking on making a Super Shotgun thanks to the codes of Nuclear Showdown. (As I was reading it, I noticed a little comment that was saying " I hope somebody will be using these... ")

Thanks. It's not a real bullet time as you don't see the bullets. I still don't know how to do that yet though. To make it more useful, I'll make player not to get affected from its slow. But it is still useful because it helps you dodge many projectiles coming at you. Well I'm so glad that my years of huge work is being appreciated ! I guess this is what I get for patience

As you've noticed, there is a huge ass credit list... Sorry for taking too much stuff from too many places but it is to make the mod look good, and they were the ones that I thought they would fit. Well to look at a different angle, at least I'm crediting lol! Some people don't even do that and claim things in their mod as their own!

There's only uzi which is replaced with a more doomish weapon, pistol. I think chaingun looks cool though. Let me see if I find a better one. Check the latest screenshots to find what pistol looks like!

I played the first episode today and it's looking good. Level one was no problem but that canyon like area in level two was another story. I got killed over and over there. I had to cheat to get through it. I was wondering if a little better balance between the players weapons strengths and the monsters hit point strength would be possible? Taking on one or two of the red machine gun guys is not bad, having a few of them plus the cacodemon/pain elemental replacement looking things attack at the same time is tough. At one point I had 120 health points and got hit just once by one of those floating things and was killed. I would expect that from a cyberdemon or the Duke boss not one of the lesser monsters. Anyway keep up the good work!

I'll post the new version today and it will be a little more balanced for players as I'll increase the power of chaingun and electro staff a little, and also I'll make rocket launcher shoot real rockets and other monsters shoot that meteor thing. It will be more like a game detail upgrade. E1L2 has 4 soulspheres, one being only to show player and make him get mad and other three at everywhere. I suggest you to start from VERY LEFT at the canyon as it leads you to a path where every monster comes one by one. If you just jump in at the middle of it, sorry but it's death. There are also many traps around there and I'm sure you'll like the new version of it more as it has a mountain-like thing which makes it possible for player to hide.

And a switch, and some textures, etc

Can you please tell me where is the door I'm supposed to put the second blue card in the second level? I enter some strange althar that has a blue key and then I can only wander around doing nothing.

I haven't made it yet but there will be at new upgrade lol. The new upgrade will also have a new effector, QUOTER if it works as I hope it to be or I get the help I need. That will make things clearer for player like where to go etc. Well I'll change the switches that's for sure. I'm thinking on adding some new switches as well. Shouldn't be too hard as I've learned many of the wall/sector/sprite structure members.
