3DR: Have you ever...
...Considered taking Duke Nukem back to it's original formula? I mean, like Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project, but developed in your own studio and not by an outside team?

Just wondering

I think they did start on a new Duke Nukem sidescroller but they scrapped it. Incidentally, they called it Duke Nukem Forever. It didn't have anything to do with Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project by the way.

This info can be found in the official DNF FAQ... (which needs a *ahem:"GIANT " update btw... )

maybe because it's almost 10 years old and likely to have changed somewhere in the process of DNF becoming a shooter and all?

That's nothing new at all. You didn't find anything new, it's been posted and very publically talked about FOR YEARS.

That's "Duke Nukem Forever" the scroller. Was totally scrapped. We kept the name for the game you are aware of now.

Duke Nukem Manhattan Project does NOT have anything to do with the cancelled "DNF Scroller".
