Yet another "OMG DNF WAS CANCELLED AND HERE ARE MY VIEWS" thread

Heh, I meant to post this earlier, but registration was disabled, and then when it finally WAS re-enabled, Joe kept not validating me (why, who knows lol), so thank you Bryan! :3

So umm yeah, hi, I'm Pikachu, and I have been waiting for DNF for like I think 8 out of the 12 years it has been in development.

I kinda knew that it wasn't going to top the AAA games that the competitors released, or have much of the same charm that DN3D held, but I was still looking forward to it.

But now it seems like it won't and if it does it will be a COMPLETELY different game, so my overall feeling on the subject is meh.

I'm not going to be like the semi-rude users here and demand that "OMG U RELEASE DUKE NOW" or flame the crap out of it (seriously, haven't you guys read the part of the Forum Rules that said "you are a guest here, act like one"?) but at the same time I'm not going to drink the Kool-Aid and say "OMG 3DR IS INNOCENT TAKE 2 IS EVIL GAAAH I WANT DUKE NOW".

I know that I am not Take 2 and I am not 3DR, and this means that I am not entitled to ANYTHING, not even a "here's what's happened" and I know that to infer any sort of theory or speculation onto things and to point fingers at people is just disrespectful and ignorant because I have no idea what went on.

I am just a gamer who now cannot buy DNF, and I would like to extend my condolences to those who lost their jobs, because in the end it is more important to support families than to keep gamers happy, and I'm sure that whatever happened was a well-planned decision and the best for everyone involved.

And let's face it, UnrealED 2 was NEVER going to be as cool as BUILD anyway. :3

Maybe this is for the better? As Joe was pretty mean. But he did make sure 3DR had a lot of Cokes.

OMG THIS IS NEW THEORY TIME

Joe gave cokes to 3DR.
3DR has to go to the restroom a lot.
Time in restroom = time away from computers.
THEY COULDN'T FINISH DNF BECAUSE JOE HAD 12 YEARS OF COCACOLA!
OMG JOE SIEGLER KILLED DNF! POSSIBLY INADVERTANTLY BUT STILL FOR SHAAAAAAAME, JOE!
And Take 2 sued because they wanted a Coke but Joe said no. Joe is a meanie no-share pants.

EDIT: WHEN IT'S DONE IS A CODEWORD FOR "OCCUPIED!"
