Re: Max Payne History
I remember downloading the 2000 trailer and watching it over and over and over again for like 2 hours. Then I did the same for the 1999 and 1998 trailers.
I found some old screenshots lying around on my harddrive (where Max has box-hands), so here they are: http://members.shaw.ca/poo-al1/oldpayne/

Re: Max Payne History
^^
wow. all I can say is photo-real was the way to go It just seems like a completely different game otherwise. ps. The comic strip at the top of the page, the panel immediately to the left of 'Payne' I remember seeing that on a poster somewhere... Anyone know where I can get it?

Re: Max Payne History
I remember many of those screenshots... *sigh* if only Remedy released LameMax (maybe in the Goodies directory of MP2)...

Re: Max Payne History
No chance in hell for a lameMax. The devs of Max Payne is cringing just at the thought of those screenshots alone, they sure as hell wouldn't release the whole game at that state

Nobody would play LameMax with the intention of beating it as if it was the final version of the game; instead, it would be considered an interactive flashback to the beginning of the history of the game. |

Re: Max Payne History
Hey, is that Sam Lake in the comic strip pic? He looks, somewhat different compared to how he looks in the comic strips that are in the game.
