Field of View?
One thing that has bugged me about Prey was the insane FOV in the opening bar scene shown in the E3 video (and others).

It's quite wide, is this intentional or has this been fixed for the final release?

Most games have a standard with 90 FOV degree...
What would you say the E3 video was..?

That opening scene had one at least 120 I'd say. Just the part with the bar though, everything else was fine.

Rewatch it again and you'll see.

Maybe they just set that up, to take advantage of the screens size...
I mean, if i had a bigass screen, i'd try mess with the FOV too... (if it looks right at least)
Anyways, i might watch the video again, just to see how big it really is as you said...

It could've been made that way with the intent to show off everything happening in the bar. I mean, that is an intense, scripted sequence, and it'd be a shame to miss any part of it (especially for those E3 attendees )

Maybe they're going for a 'different' feel between earth and the sphere.
