Anime FTW, here's my X/1999 widescreen desktop (1920x1200, and even then I had to reduce the original image!)...

I also have X/1999 and other anime sound effects for system events, because boku wa otaku zo!

Now that's what I call widescreen -- but do you have your desktop extended over two monitors, which don't necessarily have the same resolution? Or are these two shots of the same screen at different times?

Edit: no, hang on, the task bar is along the left-hand screen, and that thing at the bottom of the right-hand screen is a window that's almost out of view!

Ive a few tried unsuccessfully on my own PC at work...what settings am I missing?

My 2 monitors are 1440 x 900 each, for total of 2880 x 900. You need to create 1 wide wallpaper at the total resolution (for me, 2880 x 900). Then set it to "tile" and it fits both (it doesn't actually tile).

Found a wallpaper online and added some cool stuff like a nuke, ufos and a pink hovering Cadillac.

It's not done yet but here's a huge widescreen version if anyone wants it.
