question about shadow warrior from the 3DR shop

Im curious as to how it works. is it a dosbox package? does it use the original CD soundtrack? as well, is there ever any chance it will appear on gog.com? (id prefer to get it there, but if not I'd get it from the 3DR store). I wanna get this for my brother, so I figured I'd ask how this "updated" version works.

All of the games in the online 3DR store use Dosbox.

I know that the pre-DOSBox downloads of Shadow Warrior and Duke Nukem 3D didn't include the CD-audio. As such, I wouldn't bet on these wrapped versions coming with music either.
