I saw these both again for the first time in ages about a week ago and had a few things to say.

I haven't been the, how would you put it, "OMG OMG OMG OMG HURRY UP!" type of fan, I would be the more "When this is done, I am so buying it." But looking back at both of those trailers, I wonder to myself, why? George, honestly, why?

Both of those trailers make the game look amazing, but then you scrap it all? Even today, with Crysis out, if i saw Duke Nukem with those graphics beside Crysis, I would still pick up Duke Nukem. Crysis 2 is coming out, by then, your current Unreal 2 engine will be so far dated it won't even be funny anymore, but I would still choose Duke. The funny thing is, if you stuck Crysis 2 next to DN4E from 1998/2001, I would still pick up Duke, and I firmly believe, so would have the gaming world.

You hear a lot about, "O the graphics in this game are so life like." all I can think is, "So? Who cares?" I haven't played a game for graphics in my life, I play Crysis on Low with nothing turned on. I still play my PS1 version of Total Meltdown just because DN3D is more fun to me then Crysis, or any other game for that matter.

The way I see it, is you should STFU up and stopped trying to pull another DN3D marvel out of your ass, you will never have the most advanced game again, unless you payed for CryEngine and modded the crap outta it. (But the new DN4E looks really well done, I do applaud you on that, I wouldn't even consider is UnrealEn2 anymore, looks better then UnrealEn3.)

On a side note, if you released it ages back I could see your timeline being something like this.

DN4 - id Tech 2 Engine - 1999
DN5 - Unreal Engine 2 - 2005
DN6 - CryEngine - 2009

I guess what I am trying to say is, I hope everything goes well and I can play DN4E in a year or two. Good luck.

I never expected him to answer. He is most likely busy doing some stupid instance in WoW for his IL 250 armor. I just had nothing better to do at the time of making that post. I grew up with DN1, DN2 and DN3D. It's a shame that it has taken so long, but, when it's out, if it comes out, I will buy it.

Done to death or not, whether he is a noob or not, he is absolutley right. Georgie boy deserves a good kick in the stomach. Maybe his stupidity will come shooting out of his wazoo and he will come to his senses. But I'm sure this will cause Hell to freeze over and the Earth's magnetic poles to reverse.
