It is so interactive if you poorly tip a stripper in the game, her pimp will kick your door down IRL and beat you down.

Hoes have pimps, not strippers.

no, like the stripper would be coming out of the screen and rubbing up against you instead of just dancing for Duke onscreen.

A lot of hoes are strippers as well. So a pimp could be around somewhere.

It had tons of good stuff and interactive systems. Brandon Reinhart did shitloads of coding, but when it came to actually getting real serious on the game in 06 or so alot of stuff was removed in order to make it shippable. Remember "cutting is shipping".

Short answer: Very.

Long answer: Read up on the court case.

The vast majority of strippers are whores, so they would have pimps. The ratio of whoring strippers to non-whoring strippers is so radically different that non-whoring strippers don't fit into the equation.

Please don't get me wrong, I am not denigrating whores OR strippers.

Sex, money and nudity. It's an industry I want in on.

Man, I don't like to be the one to post this video, but I've never seen this before: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=amp9PM4L1Os
It have some seconds of the gameplay. Does anyone knows if it leaked before or if it's all new stuff?

---------- Post added at 09:49 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:35 AM ----------

This "Gearbox Software" intrigued me. I searched for it and read that they were hired to develop one of Duke's sequel, "Duke Begins" (http://blogs.dallasobserver.com/unfa...cally_not-.php).
If you go to their site and click in "Games" (http://www.gearboxsoftware.com/games/), there's no sign of Duke Nukem at first sight, but there are 3 mystery items you can click on.

Quote:
"I've started a new project. It's big. It's, like, 'look-at-our-line-up-and-imagine-something-even-bigger' kind of big. I'm directing it myself. I can't mention it publicly yet. When you find out what this is, you'll likely agree that I can't oversell this one."

- Randy Pitchford, Gearbox President, regarding this upcoming title!
It looks like Duke Nukem to me.

Maybe 3DRealms hired Gearbox to help in the development of Duke Nukem Forever and when Take Two sued 3DRealms, they made this maneuver of renaming what Gearbox developed to "Duke Begins" to not lose the money they invested.

This video really had shake things up for me.

Anyone, please, say something.

Sorry my poor skills in english.

Oops! I guess I missed this one: http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/59522

---------- Post added at 09:59 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:56 AM ----------

But this sure don't explain why Gearbox logo is in Duke Nukem Forever opening.

I don't know where this video came from or when it was made, but any of you CSI guys can help?

Re: How interactive was DNF going to be?
it has a purpose that I don't tell from what site it came and from who.

All this harms the Duke IP in court!
That atleast told us George and Scott.

The leak isn't part of the DNF court conspiracy thingy part at all.

The leak doesn't imply hype generated by 3DR in a wired kind of way.

It was found on the homepage of a former dev, and the footage was removed after one of us found it there.

Although this footage is a nice kind of tease, despite no sound and only seconds of gameplay from an older built.
