Night Vision
Apologies in advance if this has been done to death in the past, I just can't seem to find anything recent on the problem.

You know in retail Duke where there were several areas that were pitch black until you switch on the night vision goggles at which point something (usually a message giving a clue to a secret) would appear? Of course you all do. Well, how do you make these work in modern source ports like eDuke32? When you come up to one of these areas you can see the message on the wall (but can't make it out) but enabling the night vision doesn't do anything to bring it out. I saw some CON scripting in the wiki that lkooked like it might help, but no clues as to wher you have to put it...

Any ideas/suggestions anyone?
Thanks in advancew.

DukePlus has a feature that is just what you're searching for : check the demomap showing the DukePlus effects or ask DeeperThought about.

Yeah, I noticed this too when playing with the HRP. It really kills some of the mood and suspence.
