Have you seen me? Hard to find TC/Mods Part 2
Hi again. I've added most of the TC/Mods I got from the first thread I started on this subject to my site and am running low on new stuff to add. I thought I would post a new list of TC/Mods to see if anyone has any knowledge of them. I am sure most were never released but it can't hurt to ask. Eddy

On the first: if you have it, don't. Really. As the author, I'm happy that it's gone. I'm sort of happy and irritated at the same time that it would get mentioned again so long after the fact.
As for the second, that died out due to politics within the former group I headed up. All that became of that was artwork, CON and lots of planning docs, most of which died on my last PC. You won't find anything.

Wow, this is kinda funny. I looked through some of those old TCs and felt extremely nostalgic. I used to frequent the Duke Nukem 3D community from 96 - 01. I was working on/co-founded a Starship Troopers TC addon that was actually kind of promising, hosted on the now defunct cjb.net. Yeah, those were good times. I don't know if it was ever released, I kind of grew out of it when I started high school in 2000. Well anyway, I was kind of hoping that somebody here might know anything about it, it was officially sanctioned by the team that made the original... It was headed by me (at the time my name was DeathRex,) a guy named Alienated, and a few other people.

Just a quick reply; Some of the screenshots on your site is not from the TC/Addon you're reading the review from actually.
Example:http://dukenukem3dtc.tripod.com/id101.html Pic at the front page is from the original Duke 3D game, not from my episode. (I believe it's taken from "Bank Roll"). Further: (More screenshots) Pic no - 4-5-6-7 is also from the original Duke 3D.

Puritan you were right. When you said only some of the screenshots were incorrect I realized what happened. Originally I only had one screenshot listed for each TC/Mod. Then I decided to add more screenshots and only had three from the first time I played it. I must have messed up somehow and added the wrong ones by playing the wrong episode. I really don't know how I did it because when I just reinstalled it it only has the Vermin Clearance episode on the episode menu. Plus last month I went through the image folder and started converting all the gifs to jpgs and changed a lot of the screenshots shown on the TC download pages. Sorry for the mistake and thank you for letting me know about it. I will take new screenshots and have the incorrect ones replaced soon. Eddy
Edit: The screenshots you said were incorrect have been replaced. For some reason the More Screenshots page is acting cranky and is trying to display the screenshots I deleted too. Also I changed the rating of Vermin Clearance from fair to good. I really like this mod but gave it a lower rating because it was quite hard the first time I played it. All my ratings were based on the first play through which is kind of unfair but I wanted to get them on my site ASAP and did not have time to play them multiple times. ![]()

I see my URL has broken links :/ Anyway it has been working for sure. As you can see there are two AVP TCs. That 1,5MB shit is also by me. I have just put "pre-alpha" zip in their FTP upload directory to give it to co-author Marek "Fallout" Kubacek. You know I had a 56kb modem back then while my email account allowed only 1 MB messages so we had to combine a lot. Anyway if somebody has that package please let me know

Level design and gameplay are the most important parts of a TC/Mod for me too. Without gameplay you only have something nice to look at. I've been in a sort of Duke frenzy the last few months trying to add something new to my site every day. Once I get all the site(s) maintenance done that I've been putting off I am going to go back and play many of the mods over, this time for fun.
