max payne problem

after the game load to where you have to configure your control or click new game well i click new game then the detective link to load but everytime i go to click that i get this error and it cause me to return to the desktop

can someone please help me i uninstall max payne install it again use the latest patch and still i get this error when i click detective to load it i get this error here
