Programmer Demo Reel

I'm still looking for work as a junior programmer for going on about 6 months. I've been trying to work on my demo reel, trying to show off what my engine can handle, and what I can do with it by my self. I'm trying to figure out what makes a good programming demo reel, and I was wondering if you guys could take a look and give me a few pointers:

On the networking end as well I have a authentication system that uses SRP6-A, and than I also have packet encryption that uses RC4 cryptography.

Well for a programming demo reel i would suggest you get rid of the annoying music and demonstrate specific features with examples specifically created to show them off. Take a look at the early Unreal Engine 3 videos for example. Also isn't this renderer of yours built on top of the Quake3 engine or something like that? Things like that might be worth mentioning. As for the graphics (I'm not one to critique) But i didn't find those super-bloom neon colored lights that appealing. Might Be a good idea to implement some of the features which are making their ways into new games atm like ambient occlusion, sub-surface scattering, soft-body physics, tesselation, among other things and explain how you implemented them from a technical point of view.

Are you serious? Well.. yeah of course you are.

This is an engine demo test solely for use in a portfolio so this guy can maybe find a job. You'll understand when you grow older. (I am getting the feeling you are about 12?)
