Old(er) ppl playing Prey

I'm 40 and I wonder how many ppl close to my age or older are playing Prey. Beginning to wonder if we mid-aged ppl are a vanishing breed of gamers.

I'm 35. True it's not 40, but I totally dig this game. Several of my friends are early-mid 30s and still game. I recall seeing 2005 research info that said the avg age of gamers was 30, and the avg age of people buying games was 37. (Unfortunately, I don't have a link to that info atm.) If the avg gamer is 30, and seeing how many pre-teens game, I would imagine that there are many 40-something gamers out there. Hopefully they are playing Prey instead of Bejeweled 2.

60+ ... Great game, amazing graphics and effects. 1920x1200 w max settings -- 4/16 aa/af taa/af is incredible ..

You know it might be interesting to start a poll and see what age groups play Prey (would do it but it took me 3 weeks to figgure out how to do an attachment). Could be sorted like:
Under 17 (since the game is M17, wonder how blank this will be?)
17-20
21-30
31-40
41-50
50 +

if anyone knows how, could you do it please?

I have seen several game forums with age data and they all have followed the same basic pattern.
There is an overwhelming majority from 13 to 15 years old. (They're stuck home and can't drive?)
Next is the much smaller 20 something group. (They are out at live events looking for each other?)
There is a diminishing number going from 30 to 60. (Early to bed early to rise pays the insurance premium?)
There is a little spike of people over 60 like me. (Retirement or semi-retirement time on their hands people?)

But I'd bet that the 3D Realms forums here have more people in the middle than any other game forum on the net.

Don't worry about me - I first played Duke Nukem 3D when i was 4(with the adult mode on) I've been exposed to adult thems alot, and they don't really bother me.

36 here, played the demo brought the game. Loved it so much decided to start up a fan site for it. I was late to gaming but I am making up for it now.
