Release: It lives
So finally! Almost three years of work inside a 1 mb file!

It is recommended that you download the latest unnoficial Eduke32 version before playing, as it fixes a few stuff that will make the map work better:

http://dukeworld.duke4.net/eduke32/s...20110324-1855/

The map is designed and meant to be played in software mode.
No enhacement mods/hrp packages/fancy engines, as they proved causing more problems than improvements in this map. :/

In case you canīt stand the good old 8bits classic renderer (your loss), play it in polymost but be sure to put the included autoexec.cfg in your Eduke folder or type r_shadescale 1.14 in the console. This is not my fault, Eduke32īs shading is screwed up and there doesnīt seem to be plans of getting that fixed.

Play it in the night if possible, with headphones or the volume loud.

Eager to read your comments, complaints, bug reports or praises. After so many hours wasted on this, thatīs my only reward -_-

It looks nice(I haven't had a chance to play it yet) but you might get more responses if you take advantage of polymer.

Thanks.

If thatīs the condition then I prefer my map going unnoticed.

I like stuff that utilizes just the old engine so I'll give it a go shortly. Looks great from those screens.

How did i do what? The map or what duke says? Well what duke says itīs just one of his one liners. I found it handy because I wanted him to say something at seeing his friend hanging of a tree, dead. "iīm not crying over this" sounded pretty much like he gives a f*ck about his partner, which seemed logical.

Well iīve been mapping for Duke for about 15 years now (the time duke is out). Still this map introduced a lot of challenges.

Youīd like to start with easier things. Read this tutorial, which seems to be very helpful for new mappers:
