ROTT on Xbox
ROTT has been ported to xbox, not just running under xboxlinux but actually ported to xbox
source

Edit: since that site is updated pretty often heres what it said:

New Game: Rise of the Triad
Rise of the Triad (a 1995 Award Winner) has been ported to Xbox (RottX)!

A friend of mine got it and stuck it on his Xbox HD and it stayed pitch black forever..


So it's a fake.

um its not a fake , i should know since i ported it - tell your friend to turn off IGR in evox that should fix his issue.

This port is really good, control is even better as the original on PC! Highly recommended for every Xbox owner

Hope your port of Duke3D will be as good as this with music & sound fx working and fullscreen maybe [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]

http://www.xbox-linux.com/ has the details, look under "First solution for Project B issued" on the frontpage. The 007 trick is still illegal in that it violates the DMCA, it's just a way to run unsigned code without modifying XBox hardware.

by using your xbox as an ftp server using a new dashboard

also on a side note duke3d has also been ported to xbox by the same guy who ported ROTT

You do not need a mod chip to mod an xbox. This post was 5 years ago though. If anyone is interested you can always Softmod your xbox legally.
