The Dopefish may not be bright, but it's certainly charismatic
I had played and finished Keen 4 (shareware in an Apogee demo pack) years ago (around 8... I must've been 10 back then), and it was one of my first experiences with computer gaming. I don't know why, but less than 24 hours ago I got an itch to play the game again. So I searched the web and entered the 3DRealms site, to discover the parody of Keen's biography. After reading it and LMAO, I proceeded to download the episode from their site. In the minutes that it took to download (I dream of the day that I can get my hands on something better... it sucks that all you can get over here in Puerto Rico right now is DSL for $60 per month. Dopefish is really going global, isn't it? Damn, I'm sidetracking like hell... better get to the point! Anyway...), I arrived at dopefish.com after I saw the real Texas religion bit on the Keen parody. After reading through the site, I marvelled at how big a phenomenon this creature had become over the course of time! I had played most of the cameo appearance games, but the only one which I had actually seen (besides the Keens in Doom2) was the Duke Nukem 3D text, and I had no clue as to what it meant at the time. It felt like this party had been going on underground all the time, and yet I never became aware of it, even though I liked to search for the secrets hidden in the games. Conclusion: after I finished reading the site, I decided to follow the Dopefish's bubble trail more closely for future sightings that I would not like to miss. I think one of the reasons why the Dopefish is charismatic is simply because it looks so great! Especially the in the Burpfish angle. I would like to find a way to make a good Burpfish sticker. The specific thing I have in mind is for a bumper or window sticker for my car. I can think of three methods of how to do it, but I'm really not sure about them. The first method is by using some sort of gadget for kids which I had seen in a commercial long ago, but I think they wouldn't be of a good enough quality or size. 2nd method is by using some printer software to print on special sticker paper, but I have no idea if that special paper exists, besides the one for shirts. 3rd is by having some specialist make it for you, but the cost would probably be too high, and I can't imagine where I can find that service. I got this idea because I once saw the process of how those commercial street banners with stickers for letters/logos are made at a warehouse. Anyway... (hope the message isn't too long...) I'd like comments/suggestions on ways of how to accomplish this feat. Thanks (for future suggestions, and for reading up to this point)! (Yeah, I know, I'm probably a Dopefish poser or neophyte sympathizer, lol) |

That's probably violating lots of copyright laws but okay
If I remember right I think I have seen that sicky paper for the printer. I don't see why you couldn't do that if you found the paper. Anyways, Welcome! |

What if I could insert a "© id Software" below it? Also, I wouldn't go around printing and selling them or anything, it would only be one for myself and that's it. Thanks for reminding me!
