As far as I know only the lifters are 3D, I'd contribute to the project if it got off the ground a little

Re: ROTT High resolution pack
Correct, I found the textures from a handful of sites on the Web. I read over NewWolf source code to determine the expected directory structure and found that TGA file format must be used. I used FloEdit to find the names of walls and doors. I modififed a number of textures (brightness, contract, levels, resolution and sharpening) and renamed the resulting TGA files so NewWolf could use them.

These high-res textures are a complete set of walls and doors for "Wolf 3D" and "Spear of Destiny". After doing this I got permission to post the Pack on the Web.

Non-modeled sprites (use FloEdite to determine their names) will have to be TGA files with a transparent Alpha Channel. My version of PhotoShop does not support making these. Periodically I try to find a work-around but get distracted by other interests.

A ROTT HRP should be easier to do compared to projects like Duke3D HRP because ROTT has less different textures, weapons and enemies. However, some would have to do them after all...

Re: ROTT High resolution pack
I'm willing to pick up on some 3d modeling or even texturing. I'm not that good at modeling at humans though, I can but it would take too long where others would take a few days.
I hope there are more so we can get this thing rolling.

I will see what I can do about another ROTT soundtrack version. While looking for DukeDC HRP music, I could also send the ROTT MIDIs through the e-piano. It delivers really good results, far better than any sound card with any soundbank could achieve.

Now that would be great. Can't have great graphics without the music.

Once I get around to completing the Roland SC-55 Duke3D pack I can do ROTT as well since it was composed for the same synth.
