A couple random questions...
Well, first off, how big will the demo be? I don't think I've seen it mentioned anywhere. I know the demo is pretty huge, so I'm wondering how much content can be packed into a file.

Also, this is a question about the portal technology that I've been wondering for a long time. Forgive me if I posted it in the wrong place or if I shouldn't even be asking this just yet...

In the trailers, you can see portals randomly appearing with enemies that running out of them, and then the portal closes. Well, where are these places? It just a random little "room" where the enemies are "stored"? Is it possible to run into one of these "spawn portals" before the thing closes? Or is it only allowed for the more permanent ones that you're SUPPOSED to go through?

Been mentioned several times in these forums. 449Mb. Not sure offhand what the 360 size is. Bigger than that. I'd guess around 650 or so, but I need to get word from Venom on what it is.

Ah, okay, thank you, I didn't know it'd been posted anywhere (though I shouldn't be surprised). Why would the 360 version be so much larger in size?

Either way, I'm actually surprised by how small it is. Games like PGR3 and other 360 games are quite huge (PGR3 demo being over 1GB, for example). For a demo like this, with so much content, it's rather small. Kind of neat, if I may say.

Yes, you can enter those portals, and sometimes will have goodies, but you have to be fast enough. You'll know in 12 hours.

I wonder if it's possible, that if an enemy just appears through portal, and then you blow him right back in there, just before the splitseconds it closes...

Like if he never existed...

Arent those portals kinda like spawn animations (dont know how to word it)? For example, the Prey equivalent to the Doom3 Pentagram where the Imps, Pinkies, etc spawn?

I'm not too sure, Phayzon. In the E3 2005 trailer, an enemy comes out of the portal, sees you, and then runs back inside. So I'm assuming there's more to it than just a simple spawn animation.

To maybe answer one of your questions:

In many cases, yes.

Another portal goodie: Portalfragging. There will be a not-so-easy-but-cool way to destroy portals as an enemy exits it, and this can result in a clean-up on aisle 9.

I wonder how that is done... Destroying portals...

We'll see i guess...
I also remember the thing, about something happens to enemies, if they are halfway through a portal, and it closes...

I wonder if that's still in...
