Oh yeah, I've been prepared for DNF ever since I've gotten into using UnrealEd in the UT franchise to map deathmatches that may, and I mean...MAY have some speculation as to what types of maps and missions we will find in DNF. After all, 3DR is using, well, I'm using UE3 now, and I remember that 3DR's still on UE2 or something like that...but I'm pretty sure that it'll come out even somewhere down the road.

Everyone is fed up with the wait. You cannot deny that.
We all want to play DNF... Even those of us who no longer believe.
But you also can't deny at least being curious, or willing to play the game once it's out.
Once the game is out, everyone will want a piece of the cake.

I'm very disappointed in 3DRealms, but this current situation breaks meh heart.

The "have it done in 18 months part" is ridiculous though. 2 years would be a short development time for an ambitious high end PC shooter, 3 years understandable even.

I'm still somewhat loyal to the Duke franchise, but I'm starting to feel that there's still gonna be quite a few franchised games that will put him away at the same time. So, it's a 50/50 shot of whether I'm still exactly gonna feel the same way about this game as I did some time ago.

I still care! Played some multiplayer Duke3D last weekend, still awesome! My friends never played Dukematches before so it was pretty easy for me but we all had a great time!

Even though i probably won't play Duke4 when it comes out, i will keep watching out for it and i still hope it will be awesome! I've given up on gaming, keeping up with the new hardware got too expensive and i never managed to keep my pc stable long enough to finish a game.

I will always love Apogee / 3DRealms

maybe, but it'll be nice to see how those other ones compare to duke if dn4ever does come out

if there is no demo at e3 and we still have no public information about court hearing, I think they can literally burn the 'fast and speedy trial' from whatever it is said that that is guaranteed

Hello, i STILL care! and i always will. I also had a curious type of question and i didnt want to post a thread about it cause i dont want to be flamed. I was reading the board as usual like i have for over a year and a half and a thought popped in my mind, would this game count as a major AAA titled game or an indie game? Don`t care from like 1997 when George said that DNF will be not a platformer but in 3D. When I was playing DN3D I kept thinking "damn this would be great game if they kept Duke being a platformer like the first and second part". I`m glad pagan gods from Arush made DNMP.
