Max Payne 2 to be on Xplay
Don't know how many folks watch this, but on Wed night Nov 12th @10PM (Central Time), the game show "X Play" on TechTV is currently scheduled to do a review of Max Payne 2 on their show. This showed up on my TiVo as I have a wishlist search for Max Payne and Duke Nukem on there

Cool I like that show. I wish they would do an all PC one because I dont have a console. Too bad they run it up against SouthPark, alot of gamers probably watch that instead.

Xplay is on many different times, it's not just at one time - check their website for the schedule.

Is it possible for you to record it and somehow get it up online?

Or do TechTV feature online archives of their shows? or by request?

Legally, I can't do that (distribute the show) - nor can you. Let's not get into that, OK??

When they did a piece on Max 1 with the Kung Fu mod, they wanted to charge me a huge amount of $ to make the clip available online. They do post text reviews of their games online, not video reviews, though.

They should have been paying you to post a clip of thier show. You'd think they would want to do all they can to get publicity for it.

I would if my cable provider didn't take it away and put it on those premium packages which cost $60 a month...

Max Payne 2 on X-Play tonight!
Tonight on US cable channel TechTV, their game programme "X Play" will have a review of Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne. The show airs at 11PM EST tonight, as well as at 2AM & 4PM tomorrow. There are more airings than that, so scheck TechTV's site for full schedule details.

A text version of this review is online now, and you can check it out if you like. Here's a bit of what they had to say about it:
  • Now that the game is in stores, it's just a question of whether or not you can handle all the Mature-rated action.
  • ...the level of subtlety and detail that'll have you shouting your expletive of choice.
  • All in all, it's an incredibly satisfying follow-up for fans of the original, and its look and feel makes it one of the year's most impressive titles.
But don't forget to check out Max on TV tonight over at TechTV's X Play.

X-Play\'s Max Payne 2 review!
TechTV game the game a 4 out of 5. Their TV review is more extensive than the linked review, and was quite funny, actually.

They did a Max Payne inspired intro to the review that I laughed out loud at. Here are a few screen captures from the review.

Actually, if you visit their text review, they now have a video clip of their TV interview online which shows their "Film Noir Review" of the game, and has more to say than what is on their website.

Wow, that's one X-Play review which will forever be remembered! Wonder if game developers will start ripping MP's comic book style cinematic!
