I finished it yesterday. I'm impressed of this game's quality. A model to follow for every game developer (playing now Max Payne 2 and waiting for Max Payne 3)

I agree whole-heartedly. The game blew me away so much that I had to get MP2 and play it also. Gotta be the best thing I ever won. Think I may have to replay it soon.

Max Payne 1 is one of the best games ever made. The story is superb, the voice acting is awesome, graphics are still good for 2006, the sounds are polished et etc. I love MP1 to death (one of my favorite games of all time). MP2 is a decent game, nothing to write home about. Definitely worth a purchase though.

A little late here but Happy Birthday Max! It's a weird coincidence but I came to the site because I had just started replaying Max recently and I find out it's his birthday! I also picked up some extra copies of Max 2 via Joe's other post. Max's karma is all enveloping!!

PS

What a major drag 3DR doesn't own the rights to Max anymore. I hope Take 2 doesn't leave Max on the shelf forever.

well, technically this is the one from the game i bought at launch, but i decided to use it after i received the other one with the game i won. and actually, i have tried washing it, however the color has actually faded out of it.

i just tried scrubbing it with soap and water, plus a scrub brush, and it's good as new
