Patch doesn't install

When I try to install the 1.01 patch it says it can't find the directory where the game is installed (it's in my "game" folder) I assume they only let you install the patch, if you installed the game in the default folder.
is there a workaround for this, or do I have to wait for the patch for the patch? ;&gt [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img]
Something similar happens with Max-FX tools(I know it's not supported by 3drealms), after browsing to a file to open, it says can't find file xxxxx.xxx in C:\program files xxxxxxx
I didn't brows to that folder and the file I want to open is in my C:\games folder where I installed it all.
Something has to be done, if the game let's you install it in whatever folder you want (witch all software should) than patches etc. shouldn't have a problem to find it and not only work when you installed it in the default folder.
