DavoX's "Paradise Worlds" MOD
As this is no longer one map, i thought it'd be better to post in the main section for people who usually skip the "build help" forums....


I made up my mind now and i'm planning on turning this into a FullScale MOD.
Yes, new weapons, new sounds, new enemies, with storyline and everything.

Right now i've got plenty of textures that will be used and will be in the resource pack.

I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY HELP from : Modelers, texturers, Concept Artists, Musicians and CODERS. I'll manage the thing with maps or i'll contact mappers myself...

Edit : There are no musicians needed anymore, Revenant is working on it now.

IF YOU WANT TO MAP you have to send your best map and i'll analize it...Remember...i'm planning on something along the lines of what i already posted in the screenshots, Dark, Rusty, abandoned atmosphere.

GUNS i'm planning to use so far:
Axe melee weapon, Desert Eagle , Mini-Gun , Shotty , Rocket launcher, Dynamite and Nail PipeBombs, Razors Thrower and others that will be surprise.

Gameplay should be medium paced, with action scenes as well as quiet scary places. GORE is here to stay, specially with the razors thrower.

I'm not to sure on what kind of enemies to include since i don't have much story yet.

FEEL FREE TO SUGGEST STORYLINES Taking this into account:
You start up in a really sunny and beautiful place with your wife and daughter
they leave on a car, you wave them goodbye and get inside your house. Half a minute later you hear A BIG EXPLOSION and you go out to check it out...
It's the same city your family went to...in flames, they're dead for sure.

You open the garage and grab your motorcycle to head into the flaming city.










I would appreciate if any mod could delete the previows Thread from the build help forums.

Also please refrain yourself from posting crap like "You won't go far with the mod" "It'll be dead" "You'll get bored" "No one will help you" as those comments don't contribute anything at all to the project and the duke community. Thanks.

Why else would it be in the Duke Nukem forum?

Use common sense please, everyone knows Eduke32 allows Models and High Resolution tiles.

Once I have an idea of what you need, I will be able to put something together eventually. Not until the weekend though because Thursday I will spend the day driving across the Midwest and back.

Play Weapons of mass destruction if you haven't already and Nuclear showdown, those guys can code .

Also, a concept of a new enemy, the Servant:



I'm sure you don't want to meet him in a dark spooky hallway, which is where i'm going to place him.

That is a great concept for the creature itself, but I think he should lose the six pack and have some gut on him. And maybe he should be completely naked and with less human looking hands. I have a hard time imagining this thing getting up in the morning and saying, "Now where did I put my ratty old shorts and that cute belt."

Yeah i noticed that MilkShape is crap for UV .

Regarding the boss yeah...this will be a whole episode so it's gonna have a boss in the last level

That's what im doing , this one is a normal monster, hopefully someday in my life i'll be able to UV map him LOL, i couldn't UV map a gun, let alone a monster .

Then use Blender, simple once you learn the keys and shortcuts. Has UV mapping in there, a MD3 export plugin can be found somewhere on this forum.

I have blender but most of the tutorials aren't too friendly to me, but i also have 3ds max and i think that if i'm gonna learn a difficult program, it better be 3ds max .

Its not that hard. It takes some patience is all. Which is no different then any of the other model apps out there.
