Is there a mod...
I dont want fancy 3D models or anything, I just was wondering if there was a mod that fixed the odd skewing of the screen when you look up and down?

If this question has been aptly answered please direct me to that answer without flames please this is my first post; I'm new here.

Thanks a lot!

Yeah, JonoF's port fixes that...
There's an option called 8-Bit Polymost, which keeps the original graphics, but fixes the wierd camera disorientation... (However, Models will clearly appear flat when you look at them from a certain angle)

You are familar with JonoF's port right..?

Run JFDuke in 32bit polymost mode without using any of the high-res textures and models, and have filtering turned off. Personally, I think 8-bit polymost mode rather buggy.

This is most certainly the correct answer. I don't think 8 bit Polymost is anything more than test code from when Polymost was first being written. It's completely unoptimized (as far as I know), buggy as hell, and should be avoided.

Thanks a lot guys, I'll try that right now.

EDIT: This is exactly what I wanted... thanks One more question... it said somewhere on the Faq for the JFDuke3D that there was multiplayer... is that possible? I can't find a download page for it or anything. And, are there Dukebots or was that an N64-exclusive?

Duke 3D Atomic has (pretty bad) AI bots you can enable from the command line. I don't remember the params off hand, though, and the HDD its on isnt plugged in right now so I can't check.
