Uploading Rott Source code project
Hello All,
I'm starting the upload of the Rott Source Code Project to alt.binaries.programming tonight. There is a nfo file included with the upload, be sure and read it. If this goes over good I'll try and do a duke nukem project (jono's) maybe other ports if asked. If there are any questions, just ask! jbailey |

Re: Uploading Rott Source code project
Update - Had a problem with the first server I tried to post to, and the parity files I originally created had the wrong size for the posting program I'm using, so I had to re-generate them. As a result of the 1st server problem, a few files may wind up being posted twice or crossposted. But the upload seems to be going along fine at the moment...

Re: Uploading Rott Source code project
Upload complete - have fun! Friendly reminder - this thing
is huge once un-rared. The upload was pretty big itself - 1.5 gig's. jbailey |

Re: Uploading Rott Source code project
Update - I've been keeping tabs on the group where I've uploaded the Rott project, and so far, things seem generally ok, however here has been 1 complaint
about the parity files being unusable. I tested them on my system before I uploaded them, and they seemed fine, however I'll either re-post fills as needed or if I get a lot of requests, I might generate a seperate par2 file set using a different parity file generator program... jbailey |

Re: Uploading Rott Source code project
Well, the Rott Source Code Project seems to be rather popular, just a few problems related to par2 files. As soon as Jono releases the next source code files, I might go ahead and do a project on it!
