My opinion of Prey.
I just finished the game then, it took me around 8 hours or so to complete it. I think it was the perfect length of time, wasn't too long nor too short. It still kept my interest up and I have a very short attention span

Pros:

- LOVE Deathwalking. I died quite a bit and at one time when I died I literally said "ahh crap" because I forgot about DW and thought I'd have to repeat the whole thing again from the previous save. It definitely helped out.
- The mystical powers. Awesome touch but I never used spirit walk in combat because it was more close combat sort of thing and it was hard to find a spot for your body. I would have liked to use it more.
- Portals. Never get old. Great touch as well.
- Level Design. OMG! This is amazing level design, seriously the fact that you guys had to use all axis' to design them was a big feat in itself. Especially towards then end where the levels look like they build themselves. I was saying "That's cool. No that's cool" similar to the ****ed up bit by Tommy
- Story. This definitely has potential, I would love to see Tommy learn a lot more spirit powers and accept them more to become more powerful.

Cons:

- I wanted to go through the 7 trials.. I wanted to see more spirit powers then what was done already.
- Pacing of the story was a bit iffy. Things seemed to get resolved too quickly for my liking and there wasn't as much depth to it. The story is amazing and like I said in the Pro's, has a lot of potential, but it just didn't rope me in. The whole other forces thing like the hidden wasn't really explained before it was resolved.
- Needed a bit more diversity in environments. Some areas were exact replicas of others and I would have liked to see more of the drop dead gorgeous moments (like the level building part and the cube part).

I probably missed out some things from both sides but overall I rate it a 9/10 and I'm officially a fan. Bring on Prey 2!

Congratulations Humanhead, Venom and 3DR! You've all done a fantastic job and I'm proud to be a moderator here (well I was proud before but you know ).

Hey, they might just put that in a sequel. I'm going to be a bit vague here to avoid mentioning any spoilers so please if you have played the game and still don't know what I'm talking about, that means that I'm an idiot. Anyways I believe the choice to delay what you mentioned, and then having it become a non viable choice actually served to further the drama of the game. I'll list specifically.

Tommy through 2/3rds of the game remains stuborn of his grandfather's teachings. Even though he's staring right at his dead grandfather's jedi apparition, he still can't bring himself to listen to his grandfather's teachings. This continues through the game. Jen becomes his only goal, and the less he has to learn about the ways of his people the better. Even though his grandfather's training has only served to help him, he still is blinded by his stubbornness to his people.

Then his opinion changes. And he's ready for the teachings, he wants them to use them for vengeance. And he's unable to complete it. That's drama. I believe it's very powerful. I haven't seen drama this good in a video game before in my life. I thought only hollywood could get it that good.
