Dynamic lighting?
Is there really any dynamic lighting in SW?

So far I havn't seen any. On the Duke burgur level I thought I saw some outside the car show room building but it just turned out to be coloured fog. (Hmm, proberbly where TerminX got the coloured fog from for Eduke32 )

Re: Dynamic lighting?
Nope. There are neat tricks that make sectors really bright and then less bright and then omg bright again but no dynamic lights.

Well I did only here about SW with dynamic lighting from this one thread. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/sh...p;page=0#816751

Oh well.
I still hope Duke3D ends up with dynamic lighting.

Re: Dynamic lighting?
Yeah but the link that was posted there pointed to a tutorial about placing a sprite candle, and making the room flash. Ofcourse that's dynamic, but not 'the' dynamic we all know and love

I second that hope by the way

As far as I have understood things, JonoF will implement dynamic lighting in his port, but this is his last priority so I hope you're all patient for this. (Knowing him, it'll be worth the wait)
