Terminal Velocity cut scenes (and some problems)
This is very odd...

On this computer, the cut-scenes never show up (no intro, no planet-approaching view, etc), but on my laptop, they always show, even though i use the same settings.

Also, there are three problems I have encountered while using my laptop. The game always crashes when I enter a tunnel.

I can never get the sound to work, when the setd.exe is testing the sound, it doesn't play anything, and it freezes. Both this computer and my laptop use a Sound Blaster, and for all the other DOS games, the sound works on my laptop when I use the same sound configuration as that of this computer.

Also, when I exit Terminal Velocity on this computer, it has a "If you registered Terminal Velocity..."

However, the message doesn't show when I exit the game on my laptop.

Oh, and if this helps, this computer uses Windows 98 SE, and my laptop uses Windows 95.

Is your labtop and PC different processors and such? Have you tried to just copy the folder from your labtop to your PC to see if that fixes anything?

Check the cdrom.ini file in your Terminal Velocity folder, it must point to where your .tvi files are located. For example:

c:\tv\tvi

Re: Terminal Velocity cut scenes (and some problems)
I made a mistake, I assumed the TV installer copies the .tvi files to the hard disk. So if you play off the CD the cdrom.ini file should say:

d:\tvinst\tvi

Where d is your CD drive. If you manually copy the \tvi folder off the TV installation CD to your hard disk (say for example in your TV installation folder) then your cdrom.ini file should say something like:

c:\tv\tvi

Hope this helps.
