Question Trying to find the full version of cancelled Apogee game "Tubes"
I've made it a goal of mine to acquire the full version of every DOS game that

1) Apogee was ever involved with
2) Saw a full release, either through Apogee or some other company

I had managed to get my hands on the full version of Sango Fighter, Gateworld, Alien Rampage, Cyril Cyberpunk, Pitfall, and Clif Danger.

All that's left is Tubes, which was released by Impulse Software. I can only find the shareware version:

http://www.classicdosgames.com/company/impulse.html

Does anyone know how/where I could acquire the full version?

Well, that will be very tough to do given the amount of time that has passed. I recommend attempting to contact someone who had a hand in developing this game which might be even more hard and complicated to do.

It may not be possible to get a hold of this classic. If I can remember I'll see if I can find anything on this for you in my travels.

Tubes was released under Dan Linton's "Software Creations" brand of games. I have the full version on a floppy disc, although I don't know if I can legally release that.

I'd also have to find it. I know I have it, it's just in a box somewhere.

Now if only someone could contact Colin Buckley and see if he'd be partial to making it freeware!

Thank you for going through the effort.

I can always have my fingers crossed that the creator will give permission.

Any updates? Is there a legal way for me to acquire the full version now that it's been found?
