X-Men: Days of Future Past
Bryan Singer has confirmed the title of the next X-Men film:

Matthew Vaughn (director of X-Men: First Class) is at the helm again, and the script seems close to being finalised.

Really pleasing news to hear, as I thought X-Men: First Class was superb.

I haven't read that story, but the title rocks, was it portrayed on the 90's cartoon? Anyway, I'll search for it to get an idea of what the fillm will be about. I thought First Class was great, too.

First Class was absolutely superb. Looking forward to the next one.

First Class was really good, minus some really corny dialog.
If the sequel gets rid of the dippy dialog it should be awesome.

I wonder if Cable will be in it ?

This is a cartoon, a old one from 1992 years ago. This is very similar.

and, I dare to add, Magneto's suit... . But, other than that I'm fine.

The suit at the end wasn't that bad, even if the helmet did look a bit dodgy in places.

Loved the time travel storylines in the old X-Men cartoons. Though I think Cables story arc is more to do with Apocalypse - would be amazing to see them do a live action flick with those characters!

**** yes!

Wonder which way they'll go though? it's going to cost a hell of a lot to create a CGI Hulk-sized man mountain but alternatively a guy in a costume would look piss poor.

They absolutely must get the guy who voiced apocalypse in the 90's cartoon - that guy had such an epic voice. Needs to be the giant robotic apocalypse though, and not the 'reinvented' version who looks like some sort of egyptian relic - I want overly loud robot sounds and high tech mutant smashing awesomeness.

Wait, Peter Dinklage is in this movie?

How bloody awesome is that! I love that guy.

Also: "Hurray" for Apocalypse.

Sounds like he'll be playing Bolivar Trask, creator of the sentinels. Don't know how much space this will now leave for Apocalypse.

It's a hell of an epic undertaking story-wise and I wonder if the plan is to make this a two parter? I'm kinda getting the idea they may just hint at Apocalypse for now and then go with the sentinel future.

Need to read the story again tbh. Soooooo much time travel stuff going on in X-Men I could barely keep up. xD

I know theres one future where the sentinels dominate the earth but I can't recall whether that was on the same timeline as the Apocalypse future, or if they were different.

Confusing!

Either way, I can't wait!
