Cosmo\'s Comic Adventure
I just purchased the full version CD. When I try to install, it tells me I don't have disk space; that I have minus space. I have several gigs available. Any suggestions?

Re: Cosmo\'s Comic Adventure
The problem with this CD is that the install on it has a problem where it incorrectly detects HD space, and reports it as some inane negative figure.
You can't get around the install program problem, but you can still get the game on your hard drive. To do this, simply copy all the files in the root directory of the CD-ROM in question to the directory on your hard drive that you wish them installed to. Please note that if you copy them with Explorer or Windows File Manager, it's quite possible that the resultant files on your hard drive will be "Read only", which can cause problems at game runtime, depending on what game this happens to be. Re: Cosmo\'s Comic Adventure
I think the same thing happens if you "move" the files thru DOS. DOS wasn't set up to handle cd-roms, so it gets confused when moving read-only files. Some computers just give up when you try that, and don't copy anything.

Re: Cosmo\'s Comic Adventure
Thanks for the help. After I got over my frustration (and I have a customer who really wants this set and I want to make sure it will run on their computer first), I copied everything to my drive, and ran the first game, and I got funny colors all over the screen, so I turned down my acceleration and it runs like a dream now!
